Bri Tye Scores 27 Points To Lead The RMU Colonials Past The Red Flash | Sports Video
My sister Bri Tye and her team the Robert Morris Colonials played its best offensive game of the season to go on to a 92-82 win over Saint Francis in the Northeast Conference Championships. The win was sparked by Bri Tye who scored a career high 27 points in only 29 total minutes of play. Tye was forced out of the game with her 4th foul 2:32 seconds into the 2nd half...but when she came back into the game with her team down 44-42 with 14:30 seconds to play things would change. Tye scored just 4 seconds after entering back into the game and started what would be a 50 point scoring spree in the last 14:26 seconds, Tye had 23 of those points. RMU had a trio of players record double-doubles for the first time since Feb. 5, 2007. Josette Campbell earned her first career double-double scoring 17 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Sophomore All-NEC First Team selection Artemis Spanou had 25 points with 14 boards. Senior Mary Durojaye added a career-high 17 rebounds to go with her 15 points. Check out highlights from the game below:
