According to MTV, Ja Rule has just plead guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon, a class D felony in the second degree and will serve 2 years in prison. But if all goes well, Rule should be released in about 16 months. That’s certainly a lot better then the the possible 7 years he was facing, if he would have taken the case to trial. The arrest stems from an incident in ‘07 where Ja’s vehicle was pulled over and searched following a guest appearance at Wayne’s NY show. (Props J-Rod)
